What is minolia.com?

Minolia.com offers poets and visitors a place to come and view many of hundreds of poems posted by people like you. Our site is not a place for listing other poems or quotes from famous people. Here you can submit poems written by you and only by you.

What is a poet?

A poet is anyone that can string together more than two words that rhyme. You don't have to be a true poet just to be a member of Minolia.com. We have beginners, experienced poets, and those with poet' blocks registered with us. If you are new to poetry and just want to register to learn more about poetry and start out, feel free to join us and also visit the online Poets' Tablet and chat with fellow members.

How old is a poet?

Poets can be anyone from the ages of 6 to 206 should one live that long. It doesn't matter what age you are. If you can write what you feel is a poem, then you can register with us here. Get feedback from fellow poets about your poems, learn what to do and what not to do with poetry. Even though submitted "poetry" poems are what we approve for posting, if you are wanting to test your poetic skills, feel free to post at the Poets' Tablet before submitting your full poem on the site.

Will my poems get published?

At this time we are not publishing poems. Though don't be discouraged! This site offers you the ability to get your poems noticed by many people. Your poems will get noticed by anyone who browses through the site in different ways. You can find poems in the spotlights on the main page, through a various types of searching abilities, and possibly as the poem of the month! On the forum part of the site at the Poets' Tablet you may get help from other poets with your poems also. Make sure to get your poems submitted and get a chance to be nominated and noticed !
